SUNPASS Hosts Second Reading & Growth Session on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective PeopleTOP SEALING

SUNPASS Sealing Technology held its second internal Reading & Growth Session on November 5, bringing together colleagues from sales, procurement, production and operations to study Stephen R. Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

From "Being Busy" to "Being Effective"

Half a day was spent moving beyond surface-level reading. Instead of summarizing chapters, each group translated the seven habits into concrete workplace actions: using Begin with the End in Mind to reverse-engineer quarterly goals, Put First Things First to reprioritize weekly tasks, Seek First to Understand to better listen to clients and colleagues, and Think Win-Win to untangle cross-department bottlenecks.

From Book Notes to Action Lists

The session ran in small groups. After discussing insights, reviewing notes and drafting improvement plans, each team presented its findings on a whiteboard. Sales teams reprioritized client follow-ups; procurement revisited communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders; production reviewed which important-but-not-urgent tasks had long been pushed aside.

Every group walked away with a clear action list, assigned owners and next milestones — turning reading insights into trackable, reviewable next steps.

Building a Learning Organization

"Reading is not an endpoint," said the session facilitator. "It is a new starting point for the team — moving from dependence to independence, and then to interdependence."

SUNPASS will continue the monthly reading session as part of its ongoing investment in employee capability and company culture.
